Creative Heritage Marriage
May 16, 2013Being in the wedding industry, Irene had no shortage of creative ideas for her wedding to Nick at Nature’s Point last May. This bride made her dream wedding a success with the subtle combination of purple accents and a variety of textures to satisfy the senses, Rebel with a Camera was able to capture all the magic and heritage that evening.
This bride understood that choosing purple as her color scheme was a strong choice, and let that color shine by using neutral colors to offset the richness of her plum accents.
Utilizing their unique family backgrounds, Irene made gift bags out of burlap coffee bags, filled with beans from her home, El Salvador. Since Nick is Italian, he opted for zeppoles instead of a groom’s cake, like a little fried donut. Yum! This couple also brought a mariachi band on board for the celebration, a tradition this bride says her family uses in big occasions.
PaperMoon Tip: Steal this bride’s idea! Irene made her Mason jar candle display flow with her color pallet by using dyed rocks to fill half the jars, similar to the rocks you find in fish tanks! Cool!
