Roaring 20′s Themed Wedding: The Great Gatsby
I envisioned a glamorous 1920’s gala affair after viewing the nostalgic historic Northern Hotel in Ft. Collins. I loved the novel The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald had an imaginative sense that captured our hearts with the story telling of lavish parties, gorgeous fashion, and grand conceptions, that pulls the romance out of all of us. I decided I wanted to share some romance with all of you, Gatsby style!
La Vie le Gage Couture Events Wedding Planning has been drawn into the spell of romance that Fitzgerald conjures. Designing this Gatsby inspired styled shoot filled the senses for fashion, color, and symbols in conception of style.
The 1920’s Romantic era, was a period of great change and emancipation. The Romantic era allowing artistic freedom, experimentation, and creativity lures our senses from the start. Art Deco’s flowing lines, dictates splendor from the start.
The staircase of this luxury historic hotel gives expected grandeur of the 1920’s. The Northern Hotel in Ft. Collins, Colorado in its’ prime was frequented by notables like Franklin D. Roosevelt, Olivia DeHaveland, and John Wayne!
