Jesse & Jon’s Engagement
Jesse Peterson and Jon Aanestad traveled all the way to Boulder, Colorado from Boston for their outdoor engagement photo session. Although it was a nice day, the inevitable Colorado summer storm seemed to be on it’s way with hail, rain and strong winds. But the lovely couple lucked out and brought sunshine with them at the last minute to the University of Colorado campus. And good thing too, because Jesse and Jon brought plenty of sweets for a romantic picnic on the gorgeous college grounds. They made sure to get a few shots in front of the trademark red brick buildings that make it one of the most beautiful campuses in the United States.
Jesse and Jon spread out a blanket on the lush green grass and brought out some delectable cupcakes and strawberries to share (Jon has a bit of a sweet tooth). The two enjoyed a romantic and photogenic picnic. When they finished their treats, Jon pulled out a tiny guitar and serenaded Jesse (and the photographer!) with his master music skills. When he was done, he spent some time teaching Jesse a few tunes. It was a successful photo shoot with some precious DIY elements and not to mention a tasty component.
