The next two day’s posts are going to focus on a Paper Moon Favorite Family- the Kasts. In 2010 I was summoned to coordinate the first Kast daughter (Holly Kast) to walk down the aisle and I had no idea what this would mean for my life. In the following 8 months this rock star Mother of the Bride would marry off three daughters and at the end of 2011 receive the formal stamp off approval for the BEST MOTHER OF THE BRIDE ever known. Holly Kast was our first and she had impeccable class in the styling of her wedding. Nature’s Grace Design took on the largest portion of styling this wedding and deserves all the credit for it’s class and elegance. The wedding was a challenge, in a fun way, because it was set to take place on their home property. A GORGEOUS Fort Collins Estate in Fort Collins – I still get lost every time I go there- with lake view and miles of spacious views.

Holly chose a basic white with splashes of purple and green as her colors and wanted a very elegant occasion. The FOOD was a huge priority in this case and they chose lamb as the main course. A daring challenge since it is not a widely accepted meat. All Occasions Catering was up to the challenge and three of the toasts sited the amazing delicious treat that they created for their guests.

While what you see is some of the most amazing, romantic, fun and delicious wedding photos you will see it is what I learned from this family about love and family that will set this wedding apart.

Holly had a commitment to romance that I have never seen in 11 years of this business. Her and her beau committed themselves to having a romantic evening together every week and continue to do so. They put their relationship and their marriage first against all odds which is a rarity. I would encourage every bride who reads this post to look at the ideas second and the love first.

Their family is none like I have ever seen. Devoted, committed, loving and never jealous. Cheers to their marriage and the many generations to come.
