Vintage Chic Wedding Theme

Vintage. Rustic. Chic. All words that come to mind when describing this beautiful backyard garden wedding in California. I see Pinterest and Etsy everywhere, and that is NOT a bad thing, they incorporated many different elements to create a wonderfully chic event. It was like taking a trip back in time while strolling through these pictures. The photographer said that it also created a very relaxed atmosphere for the guests to enjoy. Which was nice considering the scramble before the event started, for it had poured rain the previous night and everything outside the tent was soaking wet. So it was almost like the skies knew the importance of the event for the clouds parted and sun shined down as the bride showed up to the venue. How awesome is that?! And then to continue its role in the day, as the father was giving a heartfelt speech to the couple, his words were emphasized by the lightning and thunder that had started up again. Vintage movies always have dramatic weather to showcase important plot lines, and this vintage chic wedding was no different. We only wish a Hollywood movie crew had been following them around so we could watch it with some popcorn on the side of a building…
