Vintage Circus Wedding Part 3

Vintage Circus Wedding: Part 3 of 3

What are the two things that are essential for a photo shoot? Well a photographer is kind of number ONE, and secondly, some clothes to go on the models! (I mean, I guess there are those other kinds of shoots, but we won’t go there…) So it was perfect that the photographers at Harper Point Photography who were involved in this shoot are just as fun, unique and quirky as the shoot itself, they knew just how to capture the perfect shots! And those dresses, oh where do we even begin to gush about those dresses?! Timiry from Dora Grace Bridal hit the nail on the head with the fabric for the bridesmaid dress from yesterday and this belted bridal beauty!

Outfits transformed

Timiry explains how and why she chose the dresses that she did, for they might not have been what you expected for such a quirky shoot huh? “The wedding gown featured in this style shoot is the ‘Benjamin’ by Pronovias.  Although the theme for this photo shoot was out of the box, I wanted to show brides that you can take a traditional wedding dress and add accessories that will make it a one-of-a kind.  Many of our brides are adding different sashes to their gowns in bright colors to match their bridesmaids or adding funky hair accessories instead of a veil. The photos from this shoot turned out fantastic and show of the gown’s lovely delicate lace detail and the great movement of the tulle ballgown.  The bridesmaid dress featured is style D530 from Alfred Sung in peau de sois ‘Atlantis’.” We loved how such a traditional gown was played with to create different effects! And the fabric for that one bridesmaid shouldered number, was that not perfect?!

A Picture Says a 1000 Words

We really wanted to culminate this amazing style shoot by giving you words directly from the photographers so that you knew what was going on behind the camera! So without further adeu:
“I was so excited about the circus concept from the get-go! Our photography is all about personality, and we love shooting weddings that break the mold. Above all I think a wedding should be personal and fun, and that’s exactly what we and and all the other awesome vendors created for this shoot. Just imagine being a guest walking into this detail-rich, colorful and quirky wedding. There’s eye candy everywhere, from the ribbon-draped ceremony backdrop to the custom circus posters to the hanging umbrellas to the bold, unique floral arrangements. Cotton candy, fresh-popped popcorn and a hanging “cake” make your mouth water. The wedding party is dressed to kill, and they’re ready to celebrate! All the details have come together so beautifully that you can’t help being caught up in the energy. To me, that’s what makes for an amazing wedding. This shoot was seriously awesome, and it’s proof of what can happen when you work with people who are excited about making your vision a reality. I hope it encourages couples to take a leap when planning their event. You only do it once – go all out and make sure it’s unforgettable!”

We wanted to also give another shout out to Steele the Spotlight for the AMAZING make-up she did for this shoot! You can really see in some of the close up shots in today’s post the beautiful artwork she did!

Lastly we just wanted to give a HUGE shout-out THANK YOU for all the vendors who collaborated on this shoot. It was so so much fun and we look forward to working together again sometime in the future!! :)
